Boys 4th-8th Grade In-House
Our In-House program is for boys in grades 4-8. This program provides an opportunity for kids of all skill levels to play basketball in an enthusiastic and fun environment.
Boys and Girls leagues are separate.
Ages
In-house leagues are available for children in 4th through 8th grades.
The boys will be split into 3 leagues:
"College" for all 4th graders and some 5th graders
"G League" for some 5th graders, all 6th graders, and some 7th graders
"NBA" for some 7th graders and all 8th graders
Boys will be placed into the appropriate league based on registration numbers, skill, and experience after our pre-season clinics.
When
The season begins with clinics in October and runs through the beginning of March
Where
Leagues will play all games at Watertown Middle School.
Practices will be held at various gyms in Watertown or Waltham, depending on availability.

4th-8th In-House includes one practice during the week.
Games
All leagues will play one game per week on Saturday mornings at Watertown Middle School.
Jerseys
All players will be provided a jersey for this league at no additional cost.

Man to man defense only - No Double Teaming
No Full Court Press
Fall back to half court except for last minute of game
One timeout per game
Don't keep track of team fouls
Shooting fouls only in act of shooting with the following exception:
In last minute of game all non shooting fouls one and one.
Free throws player can start in front of line or jump over line with no violation
Playing time split equally according to Substitution sheet (attached)
Overtime is 1 minute stop. If no winner after 1st OT, go to 2nd OT, "sudden death" will decide game in 3rd OT.
In Playoffs the following rules apply:
Overtime is 2 minutes
1 Time out per team (no carryover from regulation)

Frequently Asked Questions
Are players required to play both in-house and travel?
No.
4th and 5th graders who play travel MUST play in-house. 4th and 5th graders who play in-house only do not have to play travel.
